Does kmscon brings back the much missed scrolling backwards ability that the console used to have decades ago?
- creatonez 18d agoIt does, and much more. It's basically a "what if we actually cared about fully text mode computing" project. It even has stuff like optional GPU acceleration (which a lot of people scoff at, but is very much necessary for very high screen resolutions combined with TUIs), mouse support, and multiseat configurations.
- mrlonglong 17d agoWow that's brilliant. I'd experiment with it except I'm running Wayland from the console the old fashioned way. I hope these issues will get ironed out soon.
