How does it fare on iOS 27?
I have the 5-year-old iPad 9th gen with the iPhone 11's A13 chip.
On iOS 26 it was ridiculously slow. I feel that with recent iOS 26 updates the situation has improved and it became somewhat more usable.
For now I am keeping it on iOS 26 for app QA purposes, but would be curious if iOS 27 is an improvement or a regression.
- consumer451 20d agoI had edited my comment at the same moment you added yours. It made an 11 Pro Max I installed it behave almost like a brand new phone as far as snappiness. This blew my mind a bit, given what happened with iOS 26. Mind you, I only have 10 minutes of testing so far.
