Yeah, my old kobo clara hd fits in my pocket, but it's not perfect, feels like it would get damaged.
I had been looking at the clara bw when I thought my hd was broken but managed to repair it.
Do you have the X4 or X3? I imagine with the small size it's barely a few sentences per page? Feels like it would be difficult to read comfortably. Maybe it's like reading one of those tiny bibles.
- folmar 17d agoMy preferred Kindle 4 classic also fits in my pockets, used ones are at around 25 EUR and pretty hackable. I could barely imagine reading a book in 3.7", that's half of a smartphone.
- aapjesverkoper 17d agoI have a x4 (the old one with usb-c charging) and reading feels pretty comfortable to me, even with poor eyesight. I also tried using it to read a comic book at one point, but that was unreadable due to small letters/low resolution.
- asveikau 17d agoI don't read comic books or graphic novels but it would not shock me if those are unusable on these little devices.
- IanCal 17d agoI got a cheap x4 from aliexpress and it's been great. Thought it'd be weird to read a book on it but it really hasn't been. Sticks to my phone and slips into a pocket really easily.
