Last I checked, a person can choose to be a Clanker or not.
Is "vegan" a slur?
> Whether it's a machine or a human, it makes no difference whatsoever. The phrase is obviously meant to foment prejudice against users of LLM technology.
Wow, so they are capable of empathy. Where is the empathy for the hundreds of thousands laid off, or at risk of being laid off, or the dozens of other negative side effects on people.

- matheusmoreira 26d agoI'm the person you are quoting. Computers, technology in general, are job destroyers. They have automated away countless people. The whole point of them is to do more with less. Putting doctors like me out of a job is something of a holy grail even here on HN. So don't pretend that you're in any way special. It's fine for technology to replace all of those laborers in factories, but when it's your turn to be replaced then suddenly it's crossing the line? No. https://lobste.rs/s/29pm2f/llm_generated_submissions_should_be#c_kdfz6v https://lobste.rs/s/29pm2f/llm_generated_submissions_should_... https://lobste.rs/s/29pm2f/llm_generated_submissions_should_be#c_aqm5rp https://lobste.rs/s/29pm2f/llm_generated_submissions_should_...
