Omarchy Funding Climbs to $13M, with over $4M a Year Set for Spending
- downrightmike 26d ago[flagged]
- colesantiago 26d ago> This is [clearly] money laundering This is a serious allegation. Do you have a clear definitive reputable source for this claim of Omarchy / The Omacom Foundation engaging in money laundering?
- copperx 26d agoGetting an investment of 13M for some config files is scandalous. Especially when the creator is rich himself. Mark Shuttleworth funded Ubuntu completely out of pocket.
- colesantiago 26d agoBut this isn't answering the question of Omarchy / The Omacom Foundation engaging in money laundering. Where is the definitive source for this?
- copperx 26d agoYou took it as an allegation, I took it as an hypothesis. If someone got paid 14 million as a dog walker, wouldn't you suspect something nefarious? Sure, it could be totally legit but ...
- colesantiago 23d agoThis is absolutely not what a hypothesis is at all. I ask again. Where is your definitive source of the Omacom Foundation money laundering?
- TiredOfLife 24d ago> for some config files is scandalous You should really update your copypasta
- slig 25d agoBillionaires laundering up 0.1% of their net worth, makes total sense.
- colesantiago 23d agoAn actual source makes sense for this.
- monooso 25d agoAnd you clearly have no idea what money laundering is. > Money laundering is a criminal offence by which the proceeds of criminal activities, such as fraud or bribery, are converted into assets that appear to have a legitimate origin.
