I thought electing an outsider with theretofore no experience nor interest in governing was supposed to break the system in a good way so as to erase the incumbent problems and rebuild with common sense and integrity.
- autoexec 1mo agoGiving someone without common sense and integrity unchecked power is probably not a good way to obtain common sense and integrity in your government.
- netsharc 1mo agoWell, that reads like the justification you want to give to yourself after the fact.. the interesting question is what's the real reason...
- vannevar 1mo agoThe problem with government was that wealthy charlatans were rigging the system in their own favor. Naturally, the solution was to put a wealthy charlatan in charge of the whole thing and eliminate the middle man.
