Google Maps Now Shows 'Lake America' Instead of Lake Ontario

- tavavex 1mo agoThe province of Ontario is named after the lake, not the other way around.
- woggy 1mo agoI guess Ontario needs to be renamed to America now ...
- avaer 1mo agoOntario is an aboriginal name for the lake, which the province pays homage to. All of this is silly, but with this pattern it makes more sense to change the name of New York than to call it Lake New York.

- stoobs 1mo agoThat's because it's the Ukrainian name for the capital, Kiev was the old soviet one.
