I'm using LinkedIn ATM (searching for a new job) and all the jobs I've applied for have gone off site to the company's own applicant submit site. So I don't get what LinkedIn is actually locking up?
- jamesfinlayson 2mo agoYeah at least all the big companies in my town seem to use LinkedIn as a place to get views for job postings, and then they funnel them to their internal system.
- RamblingCTO 2mo agoNothing, that take is just salty. You can easily get jobs on LinkedIn. I've employed most of the people in my teams via LinkedIn over the years.
- potatoking 2mo agoIt seems very spotty to me. I have no doubt it would be a good in some geos or if you can be roughly the cheapest of acceptable GEOS for a remote job, etc, while in other areas I don't think anyone is that serious about follow through on LinkedIn.
