You mean coal[1][2]?

- Supermancho 1mo agoThese two things (investment in green energy and coal) can be true at the same time. China dominates global clean energy investment, accounting for more than half of the $1.1 trillion invested worldwide between 2019 and 2025, while the United States contributed approximately $236 billion, representing less than a quarter of the total. - https://finance.yahoo.com/sectors/energy/articles/china-spent-more-clean-energy-220000038.html https://finance.yahoo.com/sectors/energy/articles/china-spen...
- forestrywat 1mo agoNo idea why you got flagged here, you've pretty clearly said reasonable things.
- Supermancho 1mo agoI've even clicked the flag link by accident. I don't take it personally, regardless of the outcome.
- razakel 1mo agoI'm not sure why there isn't a "why are you flagging this post?" dropdown. It'd reduce false positives and let the mods know what to prioritise.
- forestrywat 1mo agoDid the parent say clean energy or cheap energy? Obviously yes, coal. Though coal has dropped as a percentage of their portfolio fairly dramatically, and in absolute twh has been stable since 2010, with other energy sources growing.
