In Germany this summer, we hit 40+ degree celsius (105 fahrenheit) multiple times, first time in June where August is deemed to be the hottest month. 30/85 degree used to be considered hot a few years ago, now I was super happy when temperature dropped down to it.
Even at night it wouldn't cool down to roughly 18/65 as was normal my whole life.
ACs were famously not at all wide spread in Europe. This is rapidly changing now, people buying them like crazy. Pretty sure it will be normalized in higher income household in just 5 years.
The world is knee deep in the process. If that's only the early beginning, we are all in for a wild ride.
