And what are they gonna do if you just go to the tire store and say I want X tires? So of course none of this will be enforced. It's just to provide the little leaf indicator.
- butvacuum 2mo agoIt is already difficult to get most aftermarket parts in california- especially things in the combustion path. Can't even buy them off ebay.
- winrid 2mo agoYes, but for tires, they explicitly make exceptions for summer tires etc here.
- AlexandrB 2mo agoThis kind of "average" nonsense in the form of CAFE[1] standards is why we have endless SUVs and crossovers on the road now. I expect that this will lead to similar unintended consequences.
