- nubg 1mo agoai slop website = ai slop product
- throwaway27448 1mo agoHow do you figure? Anyway the website doesn't look very sloppy to me.
- ironSkillet 1mo agoThe entire thing is so generic and full of wise sounding things with no deep concrete content. It screams "an AI wrote this and a human thought it looked ok and pushed it".
- throwaway27448 1mo ago> The entire thing is so generic and full of wise sounding things with no deep concrete content So—the last three decades of tech pr? C'mon this is nothing new or specific to AI. This is as sloppy as any other tech product's marketing. Look I'm not saying people shouldn't demand more, but it has exactly zero bearing on product quality.
- ezst 1mo agoNot OP, but LLMs didn't exactly invent the kind of content that's not worthy of your time, they merely turned it into a commodity (and made everyone have to work much harder figuring which is which).
- dayjah 1mo agoI can’t speak to what they’re actually doing; but there is something here that I encountered in a past job. Premise goes: our brains are infinitely more efficient at reasoning than current computational architectures. Presumably because our synapse permits allow for non linear connections in a dense space (grey matter). At a biotech I worked at the phrase that described this difference was “volumetric computation” vs “linear computation”; I can’t find a reasonable description of this online so I’m going to assume it was a house term. This site seems to suggest the internal geometry of the connective/reasoning layer is more important that having more data. This causes me to think “graph” vs “array”. Or yeah, maybe it’s just slop and some number of people will be creative and buy the hype ^_^
- cyanydeez 1mo agoSomeone write us a skill that takes any website and makes a caricature of it. Lets start a digital kessler syndrome!
- orbital-decay 1mo agoThanks but I already feel like a space pilot in an asteroid field making my way through vibecoded readmes
- Sharlin 1mo agoPlease let this be parody.
- vkaku 1mo agoI wish. :) I don't think it is; I do my own research time to time, and disaggregating reasoning from entities can actually be very helpful. See https://github.com/guilt/TinyToT https://github.com/guilt/TinyToT which already builds a powerful reasoning model where you drop your traces as Markdown, it picks it up and runs. Ditto for data, so you have both separately and can refresh one and not mess up the other. Zero training, Zero RL. Code is there, try it yourself. Someone's doing a company out of this? Great, let more people discover the truth.
- mpalmer 1mo agoNext you'll tell me that Time Cube took a round of funding.
