- phyzix5761 2mo agoGDPR popups remind me of the spam popups of the 90s.
- cjs_ac 2mo agoGDPR requires websites to get user consent before doing sketchy shit. You don’t need a cookie popup if you’re not a scumbag.
- anon48293 2mo agoNo, maliciously compliant scumbag companies did that. You don’t need a cookie banner for functional cookies, and opt out should be a single button.
- karim79 2mo agoAgreed. It's horrible and stupid. I actually run a service in the EU and I don't present that nonsense even with the risk of being sued.
