I feel like an idiot, I can't figure out how to enable it. Currently I use https://www.firemap.live/ https://www.firemap.live/ for tracking local wildfires (which isn't something I ever needed to track, prior to this year)
- dbdr 2mo agoOn the left Panel, change Configuration: Default to Wildfires and press the green arrow. You can then select various fire-related layers.
- Retr0id 2mo agoAh, I didn't realize that dropdown was scrollable! (I should find the browser setting to force scroll bars back on again...)
- amelius 2mo agoIt also shows certain industrial areas like steel plants as "on fire".
- wolvoleo 2mo agoThat's good though, it means it works and it's sensitive. I like such false positives as a good indicator. In Eastern Ukraine i also see sat trackers detect a lot, which is obviously mostly not wildfires.
- lnenad 2mo agoIt's also a warzone visualization tool unintentionally.
