My G602 died due to Logitech's infamous double-click issue. :(
I've been fine with the G502 X Lightspeed (which should avoid said double-click issue due to optical switches) and some more efficient button use to compensate for the fewer side buttons.
- ErroneousBosh 3mo ago> Logitech's infamous double-click issue. :( Isn't that just the tact switch failing? Two minute job to replace...
- minimaxir 3mo agoI do not casually have spare tactile switches, nor the hardware skills to replace.
- fylo 3mo agoIts very easy to source switches, soldering kit and skill curve for this particular repair is short. Plus you can even end up with better performing mouse switches
- drdexebtjl 3mo agoNot on this mouse. I looked it up (because I had already replaced switches on previous mice) and the fix required carefully removing a rubber cover that is glued in place and tears if you look at it wrong. It also requires removing the skates at the base, which means buying new ones. Even if you do that, the switch is very hard to access. Easily a 60+ minutes job. I bought the switch thinking it was a 2 minute job and it’s still sitting on a closet for when I have the patience to do it.
- Mengkudulangsat 3mo agoI moved from Logitech to Keychron because of double-click. Unfortunately my Keychron M7 got double-click too. Getting very jaded with the mouse industry at this point.
- glitchc 3mo agoYou can replace the switch, it's a pretty simple solder replacement, just a couple of pins. I did that for my G300s.
