- wildzzz 3mo agoThese are being bought at the county/district level or even the individual schools. Gun control is legislated at the state or federal level. The people making the decision to buy these have effectively zero control over gun laws.

It also mentions that the effort is "spearheaded" (whatever that means) by the state legislature in Florida.
