I suspect you'd lose the sense of depth that helps make the plane feel less small. There's also a safety factor for situational awareness; many carriers require shades to be open for the cabin crew to figure out the safest side to evacuate on in an emergency.
- bombcar 3mo agoYou could do something with mirrors, but the safety cards reference looking out the windows before opening the emergency doors, so I bet you need at least SOME.
- ares623 3mo agoNo, no we need more technology, more software. How about webcams and LCD panels in place of the windows?
- throw1234567891 3mo agoWhy fly at all? Just buy a large TV and sit in front of it. Get a ventilator to simulate wind, and a toilet freshener for a scent.
