I think a lot of people are tired of talking to an Amnesiac AI, and would prefer memory consolidation into the network weights. I think a lot of people are actually tired of having to explain their situations practically from scratch every now and then.

I agree this is probably true, but IMO the solution to this problem is unpalletable.
