- lxgr 5mo agoManifold tried real money markets for a while and quickly bailed out (I don't know any details on why).
- manquer 5mo agoFrom their FAQ on the front page. > Play money means it's much easier for anyone anywhere in the world to get started and try out forecasting without any risk. It also means there's more freedom to create and bet on any type of question. Their investors/lawyers probably did not want to back the risk using real currency adds.
