I honestly find myself just asking AI more and more often than actually searching pages for info.
AI is also good at just parsing the shitty search results and surfacing what you ask, url-wise.
- frizlab 5mo agoThis is probably the worst use of AI possible. (But I’m guilty of it myself… through Kagi! I postfix the query with an interrogation point and boom, I have my answer. I only do it for trivial things, or things I can verify easily, though.)
- blinkbat 5mo agoin terms of cost, maybe. in terms of my effort, I dunno. but you're right, it's environmentally unsound. I don't usually compute with that lens, though.
