Happy to have the market solve a problem, providing an opt-in solution for people who want it. Somehow porn doesn't show up in my web-browsing either, funny how that works.
- anothereng 6mo agoactually sometimes you're in a normal website and there is an porn ad at the bottom.
- KumaBear 6mo agoNever seen this unless I’m on some shady sites. So have zero clue what you are talking about. We see you
- JKCalhoun 6mo agoYeah, me neither. I mean I've seen models with busty substances covered in pretty sheer bikini tops… which might be pornographic for some. But that's the extent of it.
- smt88 6mo agoThat's never happened to me in nearly 40 yrs of web browsing
- anonymousiam 6mo agoI've seen this happen, but not after I began using pihole, NoScript, and UBlock Origin. (More than 10 years ago.)
- anothereng 6mo agothat's true ever since I use an ad blocker I haven't seen it. But I remember seeing it before. Either way most people don't use ad blockers as far as I know.
- arvid-lind 6mo agoSorry that happened to you, I guess you should consider uh, switching phone networks?
- pjjpo 6mo agoWonder if anyone will sue when they end up on a pornographic Twitter or racy Instagram account, which presumably can't be blocked (hope they don't require installing a root cert...).
- LocalH 6mo agoGiven the way things have been lately, sometime before 2027 comes we'll see a push to make things like this the default, requiring explicit opt-out (which then potentially adds your name to a list)
- duskdozer 6mo agoThe default carrier on a new TrumpPhone program (renamed from the FCC Lifeline program) I'm sure
- therealpygon 6mo agoIt doesn’t randomly show up in my browser either. Mysterious how all these people are “forced” to see this stuff when they go online.
