- cthalupa 6mo agoI think that's a reasonable argument. A whole lot of people do make the argument that they are beneficial from a mental health perspective, though, and that's what isn't backed by the science. You can see discussion of it in-thread, even.
- imtringued 6mo ago"Unwanted experiences" does a lot of heavy lifting here. It's like preferring strawberry ice cream over chocolate ice cream.
