”Human freedom enables and empowers people to do as they please, free from constraints or punishments, so long as it does not impinge upon the freedom of another.”

  That's the only true constraint.

Money is the only thing that matters. Money is freedom. Owning freely. Spending freely

  Capitalism needs money.

Freedom can also be a strong social safety net, a loving community supporting you, health and so many other things. It's not just the right to do something, but the ability to do it unimpeded. America's version of freedom is radically different from what other cultures value. Besides, freedom is not all that matters. People don't settle down, marry and have children because they hate freedom.

Yess of course, I didn't mean only individual freedom. You can be married, have children and be free all at the same time, together, right? Within a tribe. Did you read "Anarchism and Its Aspirations" by Cindy Milstein? the ideal of a “free society of free individuals”, a transformed world in which people and communities relate to each other intentionally and without hierarchy or domination. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6919727-anarchism-and-its-aspirations https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6919727-anarchism-and-it...

Practical freedoms are often more constrained by economics making political freedoms moot and less valued by the masses. Eroding practical freedoms has other negative lasting effects on maintaining all forms of freedom

Flagged for what exactly? Promoting an interesting discussion instead of fawning over an ai slop app?
- hyperhello 6mo ago
People will be flagging ai slop pretty soon, I think

Just noticed this and didn't understand why flagged and what it means. Did I share something wrong?
