- CharlesW 7mo agoClosing a single lab is not fascism. It becomes fascism when a regime systematically targets institutions that produce independent knowledge that doesn't align with Dear Leader's propoganda.

- deafpolygon 7mo agoYou mean techno-fascism? Since this benefits Meta, Microsoft, Google, et. al. Cheaper oil, gas, electricity infrastructure means bigger profit margin. It’s not so much they want pollution or to go all in on oil infrastructure specifically, but less oversight and regulation so they can build more and faster for cheaper.
