Epstein took a photo of his 2015 dinner with Zuckerberg and Musk
- DustinEchoes 9mo agoIt’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.
- jprd 9mo agoSuper glad to hear this. I absolutely do not want to be a member of any private club these people are a part of.

- victorbjorklund 9mo agoYou made a throwaway account just to defend Epstein? Jesus.
- leosanchez 9mo agoProbably worst comment I have seen on HN tbh.
- moss2 9mo agoThe members of the pedophile club are way richer, more influential and have a vastly greater quality of life than you.
- bigbadfeline 9mo ago> The members of the pedophile club are way richer, more influential and have a vastly greater quality of life than you. Pedophile's "quality of life" is a contradiction in terms. Neither pedophilia nor lust for power are compatible with anything that looks like truth or happiness... and no amount of money can change that. Even more, money can't cure an ego problem. Totally by accident, a few days ago the richest man in the world whined about the inability of money to deliver happiness... from the horse's mouth.
- snypher 9mo ago>way richer, more influential and have a vastly greater quality of life than you. Imagine thinking any of this mattered.

- CamperBob2 9mo agoIf I were in it, and somebody pulled out a camera, I'd make damned sure I wasn't in the photo. At a minimum I'd make my disapproval crystal-clear. That's one of the things I don't get about this whole business. Epstein and Maxwell were constantly taking pictures with famous people, in many/most cases willingly, even after his first conviction. What did those people think was going on?
- sekh60 9mo agoI wonder if it was a bit of a power display. Showing they are untouchable.

- tylerchilds 9mo agoI think left to their own devices nobody would have dinner with a convicted sex offender, and at their stages, could have afforded not to have, which makes me way more curious about the people that wouldn’t do business with them unless they did.
- viraptor 9mo ago> and at their stages, could have afforded not to have, What do you mean? Specifically. From what I've read so far, people involved were mostly happy to attend and explicitly asking for his time rather than blackmailed.
- tylerchilds 9mo agoThere’s a difference between blackmail and money networks. There’s money laundering and credibility laundering. The value to the network isn’t you getting a photo with Epstein, the value to the network is Epstein getting a photo with you.
- FireBeyond 9mo agoIs your implication that Zuck and Musk were somehow ... forced ... to visit Epstein's island and hang out with him repeatedly in order for their businesses to succeed? That doesn't exactly tie in with reality - it's not like Epstein would be the only avenue for multi-billionaires to find partnerships. And then you have Epstein, after Musk says "Hey, I'm looking for a wild party", saying "There are a bunch of UN diplomats visiting, do you want me to set up dinner for us?" "That sounds like the exact opposite of what I'm looking for. I want something where noone over the age of 25 is attending."
- HelloUsername 9mo agoThe link is a bit weird, I'd change it to https://xcancel.com/davenewworld_2/status/2020128223850316274 https://xcancel.com/davenewworld_2/status/202012822385031627...
- SilverElfin 9mo agoJust so everyone knows this would be years after Epstein was convicted, became a registered sex offender, went to jail, and got released too. So Zuck and Musk have no excuse for associating with him.
