They should decline. Other European countries (Germany, Norway, Italy, Sweden) have declined because Trump is effectively trying to replace the UN while electing himself as the leader. Any country that respects international law will simply reject this idea.
- microtonal 9mo agoThe whole thing is pretty insane, everything from the 1B 'entrance fee' to the fact that Trump can add/remove people based on his whims of the day. Joining it only legitimizes the autocracy.
