I hate this expression "the world police". The police is a force that a separate political power put in charge and authorised to use force according to precise rules. When the authorisation is self-given and the rules are made up on the way, we don't speak of police but of violent bullies, thugs or criminals.
- Dansvidania 9mo agoWell, IMO it was not self given. It is degenerating now, we can agree on that, to the degree that it is bullying. It bears a sad resemblance to the abuse of power one can see on youtube, speaking of police.
