my car was $37k out the door (model Y LR) . It was priced just below a Rav 4 where I live. The features are better than mid tier luxury . Fit and finish is adequate, still better than a Rav 4. You sound like you're my age (given your preferences, and experience with cars). The car market is very different. We rented a $35k 2025 Prius and it felt like a 2005 Corolla. Believe me , Tesla's are a great value.
