- koakuma-chan 10mo agoNo? They will harness the power of AGI agents to rewrite everything in Rust. Sounds good to me.
- ronsor 10mo ago> AGI That thing we don't have yet?

- wtfwhateven 10mo agoNot true.
- koakuma-chan 10mo agoSam Altman said it's true.
- wtfwhateven 10mo agolol
- zeristor 10mo agoMaybe he looked it up on his AI
- mcv 10mo agoThe guy who can't raise a kid without AI? I wouldn't trust his opinion on things like this.
- koakuma-chan 10mo agoHe has a point. For one, tutors are obsolete now that we have AI.
- luckman212 10mo agoNot just tutors- the teachers are also obsolete. And so are the students! AI is summarizing the lessons, writing the students' papers, then grading those papers for the teachers. Time to shut down the entire education system.
- ronsor 10mo agoAI is writing the lessons too. Like a compiler, we could optimize this by doing no work at all! Once you realize no one will look at any of the results, final or intermediate, there's nothing left to do.
- koakuma-chan 10mo agoYou can quit school if you don't want to do it.
- monocasa 10mo agoOne of the least fun things about a hype bubble is that I legitimately can't tell when people are joking anymore.
- koakuma-chan 10mo agoYou should have been able to tell it's sarcasm because I said "harness the power." This phrase is only used in conjunction with bullshit.
- monocasa 10mo agoI agree it's mostly only used in conjunction with bullshit, but during a hype bubble a lot of the users of that phrase don't fully realize they're spouting bullshit, and it's used in earnest.
- xvector 10mo agoJust toss an agent at it (tm)
- arvigeus 10mo ago“Make no mistakes” and it’s a few days of work…

- bodash 10mo agoWindows’ downfall will finally give rise to the Linux desktops, already seeing trends in how popular Omarchy is and well received
- thefz 10mo agoYet another distro maintained by who knows who, applying who knows which patches, that will lose support in some years? Nah.
