It’s ok to believe and advocate for something that reduces your individual ability to accumulate capital.
- nonethewiser 10mo agoAbsolutely it is. What impact on his wealth does he think dismantling capitalism will have?

- nonethewiser 10mo agoBecause he hasn't freely distributed it himself. It seems unlikely he wants to be forced to if he's not freely doing it already.
- MattRix 10mo agoWhy not? Surely it would feel better giving up the money knowing that everyone as wealthy as him had to give up the same amount. At a certain level, wealth is mostly used for comparative purposes anyway, so even less of the utility of his money would be lost in that situation. On top of that, the impact of one wealthy person giving up some of their money is minor, but when you combine all wealthy people, the effect would be dramatic.
