Google is staring to force age verification
- bitpush 10mo agoIsnt it mandated by law?
- dragonwriter 10mo agoIn some jurisdictions for some functions, yes. There is no information here on context that would let us evaluate how this might or might not relate to that, making it pretty useless.
- theoldgreybeard 10mo agoMy google account is old enough to drink in the United States. It’ll be a cold day in hell that I give them my government issued ID or let them do a face scan.
- CamperBob2 10mo agoThey are welcome to scan the output of Wan 2.2 all day, if they like.
- jghn 10mo agoThis is a good point. "Hey Google, my account was created back when your service was invite only" should be enough.
- sparky_z 10mo ago...thus creating a thriving black market for old accounts.
- spjt 10mo agoThis happened to me a long time ago... well not me but my kid. She made a youtube video and got flagged for not being old enough.
- below43 10mo agoAt first glance, the title reads like they are doing camera/visual age verification. The missing t is fairly significant in this case.
