  I only mentioned degrees. Just because someone passed a class years ago, that doesn't mean they remember everything or are able to put that knowledge into practice. Scaling licensing is much easier than scaling education via universities which means that price can be made cheap to avoid needing big loans.

    In my state you have to renew your nursing license every 2 years with continuing education.
