- renewiltord 1y agoThis is a bit of a spoiler but in the book, the astrophage sits on the Sun and eats it.

- softwaredoug 1y agoYeah I should have clarified. Like DIRECTLY on the sun :) It's not much of a spoiler, but the main problem of the book is a microbe consuming the suns radiation and robbing Earth of sunlight.
