Agreed. Really hoping that a conservative candidate with a pulse can run in a city with a campaign that targets younger voters. I think that a socially aware fiscally conservative YIMBY would have a real chance in a lot of cities. The fact that Zohran won should be a wake up call to both parties, but I won’t hold my breath. I’m just glad that it seems like people actually care, even if I think it will end up poorly. An overall win.
