Ask HN: Would you use (and pay for) a waitlist form creation service?
While building a waitlist form for one of my products, I realized that others might be spending the same few hours I did creating something similar. So I’m considering building a service that helps users quickly create custom, embeddable waitlist forms — for products, events, services, or anything else.
I can share more details about how it would work, and I’m ready to start building and deploy as early as the first week of November. But before I dive in, I’d like to know: is this something you would actually use (and possibly pay for)?
- victorbjorklund 1y agoArent there a bunch of those already? Clearly people are willing to pay for it but you probably have to compete for it.
- suryasish 1y agoMost options out there are unjustifiably overpriced. Would you be willing to pay $4 per week for keeping your form online? I’m trying to get a sense of how often a service like this would actually be used.
- victorbjorklund 1y agoNo, I wouldn’t. I probably wouldn’t pay anything for it. But if people are paying 4 dollars for it today per week they probably would be willing to pay even less.
