- scott_w 1y agoThis is dangerous because of how easy it is to abuse. Look at Türkiye where İmamoğlu was arrested and had his university degree removed on trumped up charges as he's a potential threat to Erdoğan's chances of re-election. In Türkiye, certain crimes disbar you from running for election (and you're required to have a university degree).
