- isaacremuant 1y agoI like how your wording doesn't actually say that you actually fought in the war as a soldier, which would only get my commiserations for being used as a pawn for the benefit of geopolitics. The partial destruction of the country is extremely sad to see but I won't support the manufacture of wars nor be impressed by bullshit bravado or war jingoism. I know what pointless violence is and don't glorify it. It never looks good. It's not a movie. It's not something to be proud of, and it depends a lot on luck.
