As Ellison Buys Out TikTok, US Moves Toward One-Party Media
- 1121redblackgo 1y agoGetting more difficult each year to ignore that persistent voice telling me to permanently disconnect from the machines.
- frogperson 1y agoJust stay off the big planforms. The old weird internet is alive and well if you know where to look.
- supercanuck 1y agowhere would we even start looking?
- bediger4000 1y agoUse https://marginalia-search.com/ https://marginalia-search.com/ to search for things. Check the "blogs" tab.

- frogperson 1y agoThats awesome, I'm so glad someone like Larry Ellison of all people get to influence the American youth for the next decade. /s
- cozzyd 1y agoWonder what the license fees will be
- pupppet 1y agoGod forbid a left-wing billionaire does..anything. Thanks for letting us all get thrown to the wolves, boys.
- drweevil 1y agoIs there such a thing as a left-wing billionaire?
- RickJWagner 1y agoThat’s a big shift. Remember when Facebook and Twitter both froze Trumps social media accounts? ( This happened after encouragement from Vice President Harris. ) Maybe it’s time to put some bipartisan laws around this kind of thing.
- walls 1y agoThis happened after inciting an insurrection.
- stranded22 1y agoHarris may have called for it, but the incitement and Jan 6th was the cause for Facebook and Twitter to suspend his account. Positioning any other way is to lead the conversation unjustly.
