- elzbardico 1y agoCompared to Larry Ellison, Kim Jong-un strikes me as a supreme humanist, a beacon of goodness and generosity.
- tclancy 1y agoProbably a better neighbor too.
- geodel 1y agoIndeed. And since you are so nice to Kim he can get a job as remote IT worker.
- elzbardico 1y agoOh my. Forgot that nowadays people need to be explicitly warned about sarcasm or irony as they tend to interpret everything literally

- tanseydavid 1y agoDo not fall into the trap of anthropomorphizing Larry Ellison. You need to think of Larry Ellison the way you think of a lawnmower. You don’t anthropomorphize your lawnmower, the lawnmower just mows the lawn - you stick your hand in there and it’ll chop it off, the end. You don’t think "oh, the lawnmower hates me" – lawnmower doesn’t give a shit about you, lawnmower can’t hate you. Don’t anthropomorphize the lawnmower. Don’t fall into that trap about Oracle. — Bryan Cantrill
- mandeepj 1y ago> They found one of the few organizations Or, the Org found them! It helps to kiss the ring.
- cm2187 1y agoI don't think the average braindead tiktok user who watches choreographies all day long knows / cares / can even spell Oracle. I know what you will tell me: "but these people vote"... Hum, yes.
- seanmcdirmid 1y agoYa, the only comparably worse choices would have been IBM or Salesforce. Also known as the toxic techs.
