- falcor84 1y agoGoing on a tangent from a tangent, I think that the 2*12h clock is a horrible idea that should have been rejected from the start, and the Product Manager who proposed it 3 thousand years ago should have been immediately put into the dungeons and fed only once a day at 12PM. Anyway, now we know better and there's no good excuse not to use a 24h clock as the default across all systems.
- brewdad 1y agoAs usual the problem is Americans. We won't learn metric and refuse to use the 24 hour clock. It removes ambiguity and solves so many issues but since it would require people to stop and think what 1600 means for the first few months it will never happen here.
