In 2024 china created $1.9 trillion USD (!!) of new GDP from solar/battery/wind tech, and it will likely reach $3t in 2025.
The US is being left behind, by its own self sabotage. They are going to be left grasping at the last fossil fuel straws while
the world leaves them behind. Nevermind the trillions and trillions of new energy $ and additive economic growth that the US will never see now.

As an American I can only assume that you are thinking these people are making innocent mistakes? It's not entirely their fault they're being manipulated, but it is their fault they're being driven by some core hatred for an other.
- ZeroGravitas 1y agoYes, the US hegemony got destroyed. But for a brief beautiful moment in time we created a lot of shareholder value for some already rich people invested in fossil fuels.
