Not a huge surprise, unfortunately.
- esafak 1y agoI'm surprised because I thought the Trump administration was hot on crypto.
- chii 1y agoThey might be pro-crypto, but you're not in their group of special people allowed to anonymously own it. You have to use a wallet service owned by someone in that group, so that you're always under control.
- moduspol 1y agoThe vast majority of (especially less tech-savvy) crypto people are in it for the speculation. They have no interest in self-custody.
- incone123 1y agoSure, the approved and controlled kind. Wheels of government turn so slow this idea probably started several administrations ago.
- giveita 1y agoHot on being bribed by political donors to do their bidding. Crypto donors are going to be abroad and so unaffected.
