There is a theory known as "morphic resonance" which suggests that events and objects exist in the world as something analogous to radio waves. So when you "recall" a memory it is not because it is stored in the brain anywhere but rather you are picking up signals from the universe like a radio receiver.
- layman51 1y agoThat theory sounds woo-woo. So something I remember that happened a few days ago, or my phone number exists somewhere out in the universe and our brain is able to access it?
- _1tem 1y agoYes sort of like Platonic Forms and ideas. Where do your ideas exist? Can you isolate it to a part of the brain?
