- 1gn15 1y agoThis is a good soundbite but doesn't make sense. The Internet Archive had to pay for redistributing copyrighted materials. Anthropic just paid too. (Note: redistributing != training)
- tpmoney 1y agoI like the IA as much as anyone else, but surely there's a significant difference between distributing literal word for word exact copies of copyrighted material and distributing statistical indexes about copyrighted material right?
