This seems awfully intentional.
- jokoon 1y agoI remember reading that a majority of those "journalists" worked for hamas or were friendly towards hamas. Aljazeera is hardly neutral on this conflict either.
- King-Aaron 1y agoBearing in mind that you are also not immune to propaganda, and once a reporter or whoever else has been forcibly disassembled it's easy for the aggressor to say what they want about them. The Israelis have been demonstrably dishonest about this conflict so I'd take anything they release about their war crimes with a grain of salt.
- jpster 1y agoShould journalists who are friendly towards Israel be killed for that reason? I personally do not think so, so I’m surprised that you seem to be introducing that as a justification.
- dlubarov 1y agoNot for ideology alone, but for example Abdallah Aljamal (a Palestine Chronicle writer) was holding hostages in his apartment.

- NomDePlum 1y agoThere are claims of that but also lots of contradictory accounts that make that claim highly questionable .

- jokoon 1y agoWhy would you compare Israel and Hamas? One is a country, the other is a terrorist proxy. And how do you seriously think pro-Israel journalists would be treated by Hamas?

- NomDePlum 1y agoEverything I have read points to that being propaganda, to try and excuse a genocide. What is indisputable is that Israel has deliberately killed 10's of thousands of civilians, possibly 100's of thousands and has persecuted millions of Palestinians. Care to share specifics on your Al Jazeera claims?
- asdefghyk 1y agoRE "... Israel has deliberately killed 10's of thousands of civilians,...." Hamas needs to also take responsibility for many of these deaths too. And I wonder how many of the quoted numbers are Hamas and how many are youth combatants?
- NomDePlum 1y agoThe word civilians obviously excludes those involved in combat. There have been hundreds of thousands of civilians murdered and maimed by Israels deliberate actions. There is no lack of evidence for this. Looking to introduce false narratives does not alter that.
- cholantesh 1y agoBy Israel's rubric, turning 12 makes you a youth combatant and sweeping a broom at the Ministry of Transport makes you Hamas, so I guess it depends on who you ask.
