Second reply to your expanded comment: I think in some cases, some technologies are just versions of the prisoner's dilemma where no one is really better off with the technology. And one must decide on a case by case basis, similar to how the Amish decide what is best for their society on a case by case basis. Again, even your expanded reply shrieks with false dichotomy. I never said ban every possible technology, only ones that are sufficiently dangerous.
