Hate these burgers. As a dairy-loving vegetarian, first the vegans came along and ruined everything by evicting most of the tasty options from restaurants, and then the meat eaters somehow wanted vegan food that tasted of animals and that became the default option on many menus. Vegetarians (who I grant you are difficult to pity as the centrists of the food world) got utterly screwed.
- lanfeust6 1y agoIf the supposed tastier option is black bean burgers, can't say I agree, and I eat black beans all the time.
- 9dev 1y agoIf you’re consuming lots of dairy, and became vegetarian to avoid animal suffering, you can just as well eat meat. Not much of a difference ethically.
- merry_flame 1y agoRidiculous. Dropping meat is upwards of 90 pc of the welfare impact.
- dolebirchwood 1y agoThat's cool. But "avoiding animal suffering" isn't the only reason people stop eating meat. Sometimes the reason is as simple as: I just think meat is gross. No judgment on anyone else who eats it.
- 9dev 1y agoI added the if because of that. A lot of people aren’t aware what cows and chickens go through in industrial farming.
- thom 1y agoI was brought up vegetarian.
