Yep, that's why they need to regulate ASML. Tell ASML they can only service 'compliant' foundries, where 'compliant' foundry means 'only sells to compliant datacenters/AI firms'.
- daedrdev 1y agoThats how you get every government to throw money at any competitor to ASML and try to steal their IP.
- 0xDEAFBEAD 1y agoFrom Europe's POV, it's better to compete in an area Europe leads (fab equipment) than an area Europe lags (frontier models).
