Biden didn't make it a centerpiece of his campaign to reveal the list. The Biden administration was apparently only interested in prosecution, not stirring up political dirt. Trump vowed to publish the list and is now complaining there's no list at all, after saying they had the list.
- orwin 1y agoTo be clear, the Biden admin wanted to stop republicains, and republican judges especially from being afraid of retaliation or any politicization of the DoJ (politics in its narrow meaning of party politics), to go back to the status quo under Bush/Obama. I'm not from the US so take everything with a grain of salt, but it was dumb of them. Executive federal power in the US practically neutered the legislative power, and it seems Trump admin want to do the same to judges. It happened before in history, even more recently, in both turkey and Israel.
