This is exactly what it is. They're trying to force Apple to design an inferior (imo) product so they can make more money.
- bitpush 1y agoBut isnt Apple forcing an inferior product (Subscriptions API) to make more money themselves (and serving copious amounts of kool-aid for people to drink up?). Lets be honest here - Netflix, Spotify et al are perfectly capable of running their on subscription business. They dont NEED Apple's crappy payment provider, and yet are forced to use it. As a user you should be enraged, but here we are.
